There are plenty of betting systems out there, but not too of them are as solid as the Labouchère system. This system offers roulette players with a relatively safe way of winning slowly but surely, without having to be a rocket scientist.
The Labouchère betting system works like this: you select a desired profit, and then compile a list of numbers that add up to that number. For example, lets say our profit will be 10. now we'll make a list of numbers that add up to this amount. So for example – 1, 2, 1, 2, 2, 2.
Once we have our list, we can start betting. As for which bets, we use this system on the black/red, high/low or even/odd bets. Once we've selected out bet, we take the first and last numbers on the list, add them up and bet their sum. So id we use our example, our first bet will be 3 (2+1) on black.
If we win, we cross out the two numbers we used (1 and 2, from their original position on the list). If we lose, we simply add our last bet to the end of the list, without crossing anything out.
If we lost our first bet, the list would now look like this: 1, 2, 1, 2, 2, 2, 3. our next bet will again be the sum of the first and last numbers, meaning 4 (1+3).
we continue this pattern until we finish the list. At this point, we've made a profit of 10, which was our original selection! Note that when you do this, it's advisable that you use a list of at least 20 numbers, so you'll have to select a higher profit than 10. it may seem like a no-brainer, but you need to consider your bankroll, because this can really add up.
This system may seem a little complex, but it really isn't once you've understood how to use. I hope I was clear enough in my explanation so that it's understandable. Keep in mind that this system requires you have a decent bankroll behind you, otherwise you can lose everything. Also, you need to consider the table limit when you out the list together. If your numbers are too high, you'll need to start splitting bets and it gets really messy, so try to avoid that. |
